Veli brings over 20 years of real-life experience in the renewable energy industry, working across a wide range of solar and battery projects—from residential to complex commercial systems. As lead trainer at Greenwood for almost a decade, he’s passionate about constantly learning, improving, and sharing what works—both from the field and from the classroom.
Every system Greenwood designs or installs feeds back directly into how he teaches. Veli thrives on passing that knowledge along, always refining processes and encouraging others to think smarter about renewables.
Known for his relatable style and practical insight, Veli connects just as well with apprentices as he does with engineers—making complex ideas accessible without losing the detail. If you’re serious about getting better at what you do, Veli’s here to help you make it happen.
About us
Since 2015, Greenwood has designed, engineered and deployed Australia’s most ambitious renewable energy projects. From an 8.65 MW / 17.87 MWh FCAS BESS, to masterminding Australia’s largest floating solar farm on a wastewater treatment lagoon. This 350Kw floating PV system was Winner of the 2023 Clean Energy Council (CEC) Solar Design and Installation Award for Commercial Projects (100kW+).

Of course ('scuse the pun!). Check out Online Courses for more detail. On average, we'll be looking to add a new online course every month until we run out of subject matter. But - given our curiosity, and the depth of the renewables industry - we don't see that ever happening!
